Does anyone know the location of "The Great White Bluff" in Tillamook County, Oregon?

Indians from all over the Columbia Basin traveled overland and by sea to get to the bluff and "harvest" the pure white powder found there. They used the stuff for pigment to produce the bright white paint that was used on everything from faces, to canoes, to totems.

While they were there, it is reported that the hatchet was buried and everyone got along. I believe that the pigment material was calcium carbonate. Wherever this bluff is located, it was used to gather white pigment for literally thousands of years. The Indians camped on on the flats below the bluff and these flats must be covered with Indian artifacts. Such a treasure trove should have been gone over by people that study such things, but I cannot find any mention of its location anywhere.

Chinook Quiz:

When the Chinook painted a finished Cedar Canoe with their famous fish-oil based paints, what were the two primary colors used??
