You may be stuck. The information available on the 'Net is few and far between. The Chinooks have done a really good job of remaining unknown. I think they planned it that way.

There is a weath (?) of info in the University of Washington's digital on-line library. Once you get inside (on line) do a search on "Chinook"---among other things, they have a digital copy of Vern F. Ray's classic Chinook masterpiece, called: "Lower Chinook Ethnographic Notes", which was published in 1936 by the University Press. Mr. Ray was probably the last scholar to talk to a Chinook "full-blood" and in 1936 or so, he found 3 remaining alive and interviewed them for his book.

But-----all this stuff takes time to sift through, and if you are under the gun, and need the info quickly, it ain't gonna happen.
