Chief Comcomly had many, many good sons and daughters. I have read several accounts of his many wives and very large family. As a great (+) grand-daughter you will be pleased to know of the new Chinook Web-site just put up on the 'Net:

It is still being worked up, but promises to be a great thing--probably a spot to find out first hand when and if full scale recognition, of the Chinook by the government, becomes a reality. This BBS is the best place for us to exchange ideas, everyone can see all comments, and everything is out in the open.
Your Aunt Ilchee is, by direct blood, my wife's Aunt Ilchee, too. I just saw her bronze statue along the Columbia, the last time I toured Old Ft. Vancouver.
Ain't nobody ever put up a statue of any of MY Aunts............ :-)
