The village might show up in the maps of Warre and Vavasour.

So far, from my notes, I find that it was up a small river or stream that flowed into Willapa Bay.

Also, when visiting Fort Astoria in the winter Comcomly generally stayed overnight, as the trip to and from his winter village took the better part of a day.

What is of note, has to do with the company Comcomly kept during the various seasons. In going over the headquarters log of the Pacific Fur Company I see that in spring, summer and fall, when Comcomly visited Fort Astoria, he did so in the company of Wahkiakum, and Cathlamet chiefs. Whereas in winter, when he visited the Fort, he had as his companions the chiefs of the Chehalis and Quinault tribes. It may be that their winter villages were in close proximity or that they wintered together.

I'll keep looking, I seem to recall someone talking about this village in more detail.
